A few weeks at the farm, before the start of school

Before our school opened, we were lucky to be able to organise 2 weeks before the start of school at the eco-friendly farm of the Bouzigue. It was a fortnight of orientation for our students, before jumping in at "the deep end". The opportunity for them to learn to know each other, but also to take part in a climate fresco, discover transformative art, start a movie workshop (which will continue in 2025...!), sleep in tents and in a yourt, and take care of the many farm animals. Below are some memories of the first week, recounted by the children.

Monday September 2nd: we spent most of the day playing ice-breaker games, then we visited the farm with Odile and saw the chicken, ducks, turkey, rabbits, guinea pigs and sheep. In the evening, we watched a documentary film on a school in the forest, with pop corn. Then, we prepared our own pizzas and ate them before going to sleep in the yourt and the tent.

Tuesday September 3rd: Anne-Laure came to talk to us about climate. She explained climate change. We made a climate fresco and some games. In the afternoon, Stefan and Melvil came for a cinema workhshop (discuss and present themselves).

Thursday September 5th: Marina came the whole day and we sculpted clay and painted with watercolors.

Friday September 6th: Stefan and Melvil came again to continue the cinema workshop.
